TMR Sight Visibility Triangles ☰

Among the traffic safety issues Pima County regulates within housing tracts is the ability to see oncoming traffic at an intersection. In TMR, this means keeping any landscaping that blocks our view through "sight visibility triangles" (SVTs) trimmed to three feet high or less. We have nine intersections with SVTs marked on the County plat map for TMR.

Crystal Valley Court and West Sunset Road intersect with County-maintained roads, and they didn't set SVTs for them.

The TMR HOA board of directors have budgeted money to have our landscaping company add this work to our schedule. However, a homeowner suggested gathering some volunteers to do it, much as we periodically cut back plants along Abington Road, and pick up trash along Sunset Road. The TMR HOA recently sent you an email seeking volunteers for an SVT clean up team.

Take a look at the photos on this page to see if this looks like something up your alley.
